Gain Health From A Raw Food Diet
45It is not enough for someone to just lose weight, they also need to be healthy. Unfortunately, there are dozens of fad diets and miracle pills being marketed today that offer lots of promises with few real results. Users often end up in worse health than they began with. People gain the weight back rapidly, or find their health failing in many other areas.
Instead of reaching for the next diet craze or bottled solution, let your food become your health secret. A diet of raw foods can be all you need to feel healthier, stronger, and more alive.
When food is kept raw, it contains all of it's nutrients that cooking can strip away. Important antioxidants, minerals, and important vitamins remain intact and available for your body to absorb them. Eating raw is the way our bodies were created to eat, and the best way to ensure we stay strong and healthy.
Fruits and vegetables are the most common raw foods to enjoy. From fresh salads to healthy green smoothies, you can get your daily requirements from munching on these garden staples. But they are certainly not all you are forced to eat! Nuts and seeds can be soaked in water to activate enzymes that ease digestion without destroying the healthy fats they contain. Even beans, grains, and lentils can be sprouted and eaten instead of cooked. With a little effort, you can enjoy a wide range of meals all made from raw foods.
Raw foods cotontain a number of healthy vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, such as calcium, vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, vitamin E, omega 3 fatty acids, tryptophan, folate, potassium, and high levels of fiber. All of these things are important proper health and vitality.
Eating raw foods also allows you to avoid the unhealthy aspects of much of our foods. These include saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, high fructose corn syrup, refined sugars, artificial flavors, MSG, hormones, and other harmful elements found in many of the things we eat on a daily basis.

I am a passionate raw fooddie. Raw food diet keeps me young and healthy. I can only confirm what you wrote. Cooking strips food of its nutritional value and alters the proteins thus making the food less easily absorbable by the body.
